Sorry, Bush administration. It turns out it really ain’t so.
This video, currently making the rounds on the net, shows political commentator Stephen Colbert, host of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central, being arrested by the FBI on tax evasion charges.

The clip turns out, not surprisingly, to be just another internet hoax. The clip is not from an FBI surveillance camera, but from a 2004 episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent which Colbert appeared in. The sharp-eyed can spot L&O:CI stars Kathryn Erbe and Vincent D’Onofrio in the clip, taken from an episode called “The Saint” in which Colbert played an expert forger.
